Tournament Summary

Thrudball is an annual two day Charity Bloodbowl tournament being held this year 8th - 9th August 2015 in aid of The Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation and The Snowdrop Trust at Newtown Sports and Social Club, Bognor.

Entry this year including food for the weekend (Catered by local Award-winners Turners Pies) is £35 for NAF members, £41 for Non NAF (the food option will be run on a reduced-profit basis by our caterers). Accommodation is NOT included in the ticket price BUT you CAN camp at the venue Friday and Saturday night. Showers at the Arena Sports Centre for a £2 Surcharge as last year).

up to 70 coaches will battle for 6 rounds over the 2 days, each round having a two hour time limit. At the end of the Sixth round, the player with the most tournament points will take home the Thrudball Trophy.

There are also Trophies for the Runner-Up, Best Painted, Pint-Sized Pacifiers (Stunty Cup) and Dockbowl Champion, and Awards for Best of the Rest (Third Place), Most Sporting, Most Casualties, Most Touchdowns, Best Newcomer, Comeback King, Best BRGAN, Most Thrudded (Last Place) & The Glowworm award (see Prizes Menu option) Most Thrudlike, some internationally specific awards (e.g. Most Fouls - French only) and Thrud Gurning Champion.

There will also be a Charity Auction, with many unique and interesting items available to the highest bidder, a "Throdgeball" TEAM Challenge (Fancy Dress Water Dodgeball, teams of 3 ) a Thrud Bullriding Challenge to find our "Saddle Sore" Champion plus other daft evening entertainment , a Most Thrudlike competition, Dockbowl for the bottom four teams, Wandering Thrud with the chance to win A FREE BEER, Spot Competitions and prizes, the all important Thrudweizer and lots of fun to be had for all.

We will hopefully even have two Limited Edition Tournament Miniatures, a Halfling Death Trike and a Nubian Flesh Golem Pirate (see Home Menu, Merchandise, available to THRUDBALLERS FIRST at the event.

Profits from the event are donated to: The Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation (45%), Registered charity 1046854 and The Sussex Snowdrop Trust (45%), UK Registered Charity 1096622 . The remaining 10% of Profits are kept by BRGA, to buy Scenery and equipment for the club.

Over the last 9 years we're Raised 19397.79 + £460 (Glow-Onesie 2013) + last years total was £3750+ (Estimated) in 2014 (STILL awaiting a few debtors to pay up)

This event is backed by Thrud’s creator Carl Critchlow, and is put together by GCN Club BRGA to promote Bloodbowl and good fun!!
